Hello Dr Epstein,
It’s M, hope all is well. My eyebrows look amazing! They haven’t been groomed recently but here’s a pic from today. I’m four months since my my second transplant. Things went really well. Hopefully this picture illustrates they look very natural and full. I’m very pleased.
I’m considering doing microblading at some point to define them some more. I wanted to know when is it safe after transplant to do microblading? Should I wait six months to a year; or longer?
Thank you in advance for your time and input,
*African American eyebrow transplant patient
Hi Dr. Epstein :)
John is in the process of writing you and your team a more formal thank you letter, but I wanted to let you know his eyebrow has grown in better than we could have imagined. He has been going to work the last couple of weeks without any bandage to cover anything. He's happy, and I couldn't be happier. You guys did truly great work.
Many, many thanks,
5 stars for Doctor Jeffrey Epstein, the best facial PS in Miami, Fla.
Dr Jeffrey Epstein is a brilliant surgeon, I highly recommend him and his amazing team as they put me completely at ease with any questions I had about the operation. I had been thinking about forehead hairline lowering done in conjunction with forehead brow lifting for quite a while but was nervous about plastic surgery. I must say I was in very capable hands, the surgery was smooth sailing and I didn’t feel any pain during the entire process from sedation through to the recovery. I am elated with my results and I could not be happier! His staff, including Dan (Practice Manager), the receptionists, the nurses (Cindy and Susie), and his anaesthetist, were as lovely as him - I never felt uncomfortable and my questions were always answered to my satisfaction. My first operation with him was about 3 and a half months ago but then I decided to have the eyebrows placed a little bit higher still and the doctor was happy to oblige. He has done an excellent job. After the surgery, the little discomfort I experienced was exactly or less than expected. I did actually stop taking the pain killers after one day only as I never needed to take any of them in the first place. I cannot recommend Dr. Epstein more. He made such a life-changing experience as smooth as it could have been, and the results are amazing, because he did such a great job. Photos to follow in a couple of more months once things settle down from my more recent operation. In 6 months time he will do FUE hair transplantation and a revision tip rhinoplasty I had done elsewhere and now in need some improvement. I shall be opening a new thread to that effect at Realself in due course.
You know the best doctors always come with a hefty price tag but hey you get what you pay for. One would assume that a high profile doctor with a high price tag would have the best office staff and greatest bedside manner. I can tell you that what Dr. Epstein and you guys at his office give to your patients no amount of money can match! The honesty, friendliness, hospitality and the following up with your patients is everything a doctor and his staff should be. You guys are amazing. I will see you guys at my 2 year post op sometime in October :)
Thank you for your email.
I must apologise for the long delay in checking back in. I’ve been completely snowed under working on my PhD and had no brain space for anything else.
Anyway, I LOVE my eyebrows. They have really made me so much happier with how I look and I couldn’t be more pleased to have made the decision to go ahead with the procedure in 2016.
In fact, since getting them done I have not only have I passed my doctorate, I have also got engaged! I can’t attribute it all entirely to the transplant but I’m sure the added confidence boost helped!
All best wishes to you, Dr. Epstein and the team.
I’m actually doing very well thank youI’m only feeling the pains that you described I would feel. I slept fine & bled very little at night but overall I feel great!! thank you so much you and your staff are so amazing!!! I had my first wash with Danny this morning, he was very gentle & such a sweetheart. He instructed me on what I needed to do for the next few days. I haven’t gotten a time for the 10th but I’m sure I will get a call soon... Have a wonderful New Year’s much blessings to you and your family and your little ones too.?

I am THRILLED with how well they have turned out. It's amazing to wake up with perfect brows everyday, I cannot get over it! Thank you so much for your expert advice and if I need to ask anything more, I will be in touch!
Hi Dr Ep,
Very good to hear from you, in fact I was just going to email you!
Yes, of course, I would be honoured to speak to another male patient for you and tell him all about how amazing the results are. You are top of your game and I would be happy to help!
As you will see the operation has been a complete success this time! I think the fact we did those blood injections PRP (I cannot remember if that is the correct term?) is what really made the difference.
In any case, in order to fully reach my goal of doing away with needing any brow filling products whatsoever in the morning, I would like to arrange a top-up session next year please, sometime in April-May 2018 time. You have created the perfect shape for me, I would just like you to please put a few more hairs in there so that they are darker and thicker all around. I hope that is a good time to come?
Hoping you are well! :)

Hello Dr Epstein and Cindy,
I wanted to let you know that all of the redness is now gone and my eyebrows have grown in very nicely and I am happy with the results.
Thank you for everything!
It's M. Hope all is well! I had my eyebrow transplant surgery last September on the 16th. Things have been going really well, I love my eyebrows they look awesome. I’m very pleased. I have a couple of questions and I wanted to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr Epstein. I think I was told previously I’m suppose to wait approximately one year. So I would like to schedule it for sometime when I’m off either this month or next. Let me know what works out best.
I'm doing great. Just boarded my flight. Hardly no pain with just alleve. Your team is great. I'll keep the office posted with pics. You are a kind, humble doctor who has made a significant impact on my eyebrow struggles. Much success.
Hi Dr. Epstein,
I had an eyebrow transplant in early September and just wanted to let you know I am so excited about the results!
I'll admit I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to grow in properly but they are doing great! Such a difference .. thanks again for a wonderful job!
Thankful, thankful, thankful for Dr. Epstein! His research and skill as a surgeon has enhanced many lives. I've been a patient of his for about two years. In 2015, I had an eyebrow transplant; this was the beginning of a beautiful story of restored confidence. For more than fifteen years, since my late teens, I had been drawing eyebrows on an almost hairless brow each morning.
Despite watching countless "how to draw the perfect brows" tutorials and buying the latest brow kits, I felt clownish. Now, a year and a half later, random people will stop me just to comment on my beautiful brows. My hair stylist says I should get some kind of "best brows" award. The award goes to Dr. Epstein! It took 650 hairs carefully placed. It was a long morning, and the entire staff worked diligently to take wonderful care of me. As a bonus, I feel the brows created a very youthful effect, easily taking off five to seven years - amazing!
In 2016, I flew back to Dr. Epstein for a rhinoplasty in order to remove a bump on the bridge, refine the tip, narrow the nostrils, and straighten a deviated septum. I'm pleased with the results (wow!) and am excited to see my nose settle into its final sophisticated little self! If I think back to the first night when Ifilled out an online interest form inquiring about eyebrow transplants and moving forward to today, all of my experiences with Dr. Epstein and his staff - especially Dan, Natalie, Susie, Elsa, and Cindy - have been positive. This is an incredible team with heart that matches skill.
Cheers to happy endings and doctors like Epstein who are incredibly talented and truly care.
Hi Dr. Epstein, thanks for taking the time to reach out. Im doing well and I'm finally content with how my eyebrows look now. Its not something I constantly think about anymore and most importantly has given me some confidence back. I'll send you some updated pictures so you can see how they finally turned out. Thanks again and take care.

Good Morning Dr.
Thank you very much for your mail.
Last week was my first week without any bruising or shells. My brows looked absolutely gorgeous all week. Absolutely in love with them. They were PERFECT. Everything I expected and more.
Regarding the incision on the back of my head, the plastic surgeon who took out the stitches, told me that the scar is healing perfectly and looking great. I have some itching, in both head scar and eyebrows, but absolutely no more pain.
I also wanted to ask you, if it would be convenient to start using any eyebrow hair growth product . For exaple "Latisse" or other you may suggest.
With best regards,
Hi Dr. Epstein,
I'm wondering if you have any contacts for eyebrow estheticians trained in this type of growth in NYC. Thank you! The eyebrows are awesome, by the way. Thank you again!
Thank you for following up. I must say that I absolutely LOVE my eyebrows! Dr. Epstein is amazing!
A couple of my friends and family have asked for the office number.
The only minor (not complaining) dilemma, is that I need to learn how to cut/trim them. They can grow a bit out of control. I assume we will go over that during an in person follow up.
