Dear Dr. Epstein, I have had an eyebrow transplant procedure done by another doctor in San Diego, California. It has only been 4 1/2 months and the hairs are growing, but mostly only on my left eyebrow. Regardless, the placement of the eyebrows are higher than where it should naturally be and the shape doesn’t seem to fit or “frame” my eyes to my reasonable expectations. I, of course, noticed this the day of the procedure and I didn’t feel so great. My question to you is: are there any procedures or suggestions to help correct this? If there are any procedures to take out the grafts at the top part of the eyebrows that would prevent obvious scarring? I would also be interested in increasing density to where I think the eyebrows should be. The doctor who had done the procedure justified the higher placement by stating that in future years, my eyebrows would get lower and make me look younger. I am 43, asian male. I wish and dreamed that I had gone to you from the beginning. I value your input.
