Can I eat on the day of the procedure and am I able to take a break during the procedure?
Patients are encouraged during hair transplantations to have breakfast the day of their procedure. It should be a simple light breakfast and we do encourage our patients to not have any caffeine, in other words no coffee and no tea in the morning unless it is caffeine free. During the procedure itself, patients are also able to take breaks to use the restroom as well as to have lunch. In fact, each of our patients are ordered lunch by Dr. Epstein and his staff on the day of the procedure and there is no problem with getting up to use the restroom, take breaks or to simply have a snack or lunch.Posted by Jeffrey S.
